Shipping and Returns

Shipping Policy:

  • All items are shipped insured via the most cost effective manner unless you request specific expedited shipping.

  • If you request expedited shipping, I will do my best effort to accommodate your desire.

    • Once items are in the carrier’s possession, the timing and delivery speed is out of my control. I will not be able to:

      • change the shipping address

      • change the shipping speed

      • change the items/products/art

      • add anything to to the order

      • remove anything off the order

    • Because of this, please make sure all details in the shipping information and order are correct before submitting the order/request.

  • Some requests/orders will not be possible with some shipping options (such as expedited). These include (but are not limited to):

    • Pre-orders

    • Customized orders

    • One-of-a-kind / commissions

  • If an order does not have a shipping option available at checkout, then it is not possible.

  • Some locations will not be possible with some shipping options (such as expedited). These include (but are not limited to):

    • International (I am located in the continental U.S.A.)

    • Weather/War/Strike affected locations

  • Because these situations are fluid, if there is a change in the available shipping options and the one you have selected is not available, I will contact you to find an alternative solution.

    • If I do not hear back from you regarding the situation, I will send the package via the closest speed/delivery option (without additional charges) and refund the difference.

  • Shipping charges include multiple expenses and will not necessarily equal the exact amount of the carrier costs possibly displayed on the label. These expenses can include:

    • insurance

    • packaging materials

    • expediting/rush fees

    • oversize fees

  • All shipping charges on checkout are estimations. Any costs above the estimation will be covered by Moore Art By Lucy (you will never be charged more), any overage paid by the customer will be refunded to the customer when the order is completed and sent.

Returns Policy:

  • Items that are “stock” (un-customized) and resalable are available for returns for 14 days after delivery.

    • Customized items are not returnable/refundable unless:

      • I have made a mistake on the customization

      • The product is not as described on the listing

        • If the issue was pre-approved by you, the item is not eligible for return/refund.

        • Because of this, please make sure all information in the customizing portion of the order are correct before submitting the order/request.

  • One-of-a-Kind items may be eligible from return/refund under specific conditions. These will have to be addressed on a case by case basis.

  • Please contact me if you need to return any item that is not customized and we will work out whether it is eligible and the next steps available.

  • Basic returns will be sent back (paid by the customer) and will be refunded based on the following calculations:

    • Total original order - original shipping - restocking fee (if applies) of $10.00 = amount of refund

    • Restocking fee applies to any item being returned for any reason except error by Moore Art By Lucy

  • Returns due to error will be sent back (paid by Moore Art By Lucy) and will be replaced with correct(ed) items.

    • If replacement is not possible (i.e. one-of-a-kind items, etc.), refund will be paid based on the following calculations:

      • Total original order = amount of refund

  • Custom Artwork is sold based on “all sales final”

  • Customization includes but not limited to:

    • Unique labeling

    • “upgrades” to products/items such as:

      • beading

      • decorating/trimming

      • matting and framing

        • (framing without a mat is not considered customizing)
