Aerwyna is a young foal who has found and attached her self to Iris, Dor Ming Lei, Sunken Treasure, Emerald Isle, and Prisoner of War, when they are around or visit through the Trouét Waystation. When together they all live in the wild on and near the beaches around the gardener's cabin, on the beach on Orkney (the other horses’ home), or the beaches between the small forest and the area east of Corne D’or.

She is very friendly, approachable, and also likes the gardener's youngest daughter - Summer Rayne, but she really prefers the sound of the sea and the smell of the salt in the air.  When the others are not around, she spends her time dreaming about the sea, wandering the fields and forests near the hills and the gardener's house, and playing with Summer.  She will allow Alma (Summer’s older sister) to approach, but if Summer isn't around and Alma tries to lead her too far from the beaches, she will turn and run back like a barn sour gelding. Alma is attempting to tame her, but Aerwyna is full on resistant.

She recently left her mother’s side wandering from the Forest of Voices, exploring on her own after being encouraged by Akatur with stories of the Trouét Waystation. She knows Iris isn't her dam, but she respects her as one, and Iris' gaze can stop her on a dime when she's misbehaving or getting just a little too rowdy for everyone's good.

Summer and her will snuggle up on a hillside while the little girl reads, or will skulk around on the shoreline while she looks for shells, driftwood, or anything else "magical" she can find washed up on the beach.  Aerwyna adores the girl and protects her as Iris has done for her.  However, they are both very curious, and sometimes that gets them into situations that are not good.

Her favorite snack is the lemongrass and sea oats that grow along the beaches, but she will approach anyone who offers up a carrot, an apple, or a sammich.... she does love sammiches....
